Robert Schaller
Vault department Supervisor - Edmonton
My name is Robert Schaller and I started my career with AWS in 1989 as a vault driver. After apprenticing as a heavy duty mechanic, getting my Class 1 license and delivering tanks I decided to take a supervisor position in the vault department and been managing it ever since.
It’s always nice to work with great people and enjoy what you do every day, and I enjoy talking to new people that are just starting in the industry.

Rookie Shewfelt
Vault Driver - Edmonton
My name is Rookie Shewfelt , I grew up in a large family that ran school bus and snow removal companies. Over the years I’ve helped build bridges, operated skid steer, mechanic work and even carpentry. I started with Wilbert in 2009 working on the tank side of things and Wilbert helped me with getting my Class 1, but the funeral side of Wilbert has been the most enjoyable part for me. I’ve been working with funeral vaults for 7 years and truly enjoy traveling Alberta’s countryside, visiting unique cemeteries and making grieving families’ day a little bit easier.
I’ve had the opportunity to travel to Chicago to see how and where Wilbert started. During our stay, I won the Wilbert Way Sprint Championship, meaning I was able to set up a Wilbert Way vault in under five minutes!
I enjoy the time I get to spend with my two beautiful daughters and golfing with the Wilbert boys.
Wilbert has been an amazing place to work for the past nine years and I’m eager to see where it takes me.

Neil Thomas
Vault Driver - Edmonton
My history with Wilbert goes way back to 1993, I’ve come and gone enjoying a few other things in between and came back for good in 2010. I enjoy golfing and bowling with my teammates , sharing lots of laughs and a few beverages.
In the past I’ve done odd jobs in warehouses, some iron work, bicycle assembly, teaching drivers training and installing billboard sign decals just to name a few.
The most adventurous thing I’ve done was start my own screen printing shop. I enjoy staying busy with regular coffee dates with friends and family and going to the gym.
Trever Werenka
